Bollywood actress, Shilpa Shetty, has credited Jade Goody with giving her a high profile. Shilpa said: "She was the architect of my fame, and I give her the credit for that." The Bollywood star became a household name in Britain amid a racism storm in Celebrity Big Brother 2007 when thousands of viewers complained over the treatment of Shilpa by Jade and other housemates.

Jackiey insisted on spending hours dressing Jade and doing her make-up just like it was on her wedding day - with glitter and bright lipstick. Jade had discussed her outfit before her death and said it was her final wish to be buried in her gown, wearing her wedding ring and with her favourite pictures of her sons.
