Purity rings. Russell Brand might not understand why people wear them but hey, that’s alright, because they don’t understand Russell Brand either, so it all works out in the end. But purity rings aside, being clean-cut and wholesome has long been a favourite image for some celebrities. This is not just a boy band… this is Disney boy band. While some bands aim for rock chops and a diet of sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll, The Jonas Brothers discovered an alternative route of no sex, no drugs and wholesome pop. Hmm. Can’t see that on a t-shirt anytime soon, can you? One question: If you’re going to stay pure until marriage, why go into a groupie-heavy industry?
