However, after that initial appearance on Model Behaviour and, of course, their notorious debut as The Cheeky Girls singing, Touch My Bum, during the Popstars – The Rivals auditions, they've somehow become part of the fabric of UK life. Quite how they've managed it remains a mystery but you might get a few clues if you watch Living With The Cheeky Girls, coming soon to LivingTV. In the meantime though, here's what they made of the Living Questions... Living... For The City Monica: We've travelled a lot in the last year, and we have to say that London must be our favourite city in the whole wide world. It's just never boring. You always discover places. You have bars, you have clubs, restaurants, everything in one little area. Gabriela: And you never meet the same person the next day. Living... For The Weekend Monica: A big weekend has to go with big parties for the Cheeky Girls. We love dancing a lot and our best night would be to be dancing all night. Gabriela: We like salsa as well, not just clubbing.We like our food as well. So restaurant, bar, clubbing. And the next day again, but during the day? Shopping. That would be marvellous. Monica: I could live my whole life like this. Living... On A Prayer Monica: We are Orthodox. It is very traditional in our family that we are religious, so yes, we pray and all our family goes regularly to church. Gabriela: I do pray but not very often. Maybe I should pray more! The Living... Years Gabriela: The happiest year has to be when we became The Cheeky Girls because it was such an opportunity that we didn't let go. Since then, it's been up and down, up and down, but they year when we became the Cheeky Girls and had our first album out, was such an achievement. And we had lots of awards, not just from the UK, but from the Far East, Europe, we came back with at least one award. So probably the very first year, the breakthrough year, was the most powerful in our career. Living... In A Box Monica: I must say, I only received one present for Christmas from my sister Gabriela: And I received just one from her. Last year was the first time we gave presents to each other as a surprise. We always go in the shop and buy. Monica: I received a nice smelly lotion, skin lotion. Gabriela: It wasn't really your best ever present... Monica: No, it was a surprise. Gabriela: Probably the best present I've ever received was a bicycle, and my sister was so jealous. I had one and she didn't, and she always used to steal it and go for a ride. Monica: I feel that the best present wasn't really a present but last year we spent one month with our grandmother. She passed away in March this year, but we spent one month with her, I feel that was a nice present. Gabriela: Another present a couple of years ago, we surprised our father with a trip around Europe, finishing up in Paris. That was nice as well, he really enjoyed himself. The Living... Daylights Monica: Favourite Bond film? We didn't watch the Bond films! I only know the one with Sean Connery and that other one, what was his name? Gabriela: Oh you are rubbish! Monica: Oh I saw the last Bond film with Daniel Craig. It was good. I don't know if it was the best one but I saw that one. Gabriela: We really wouldn't mind acting in one of the movies... Living... TV Monica: Living With The Cheeky Girls is like living in the fast lane, you'll be able to see the Cheeky Girls in every single situation. At home, eating, relaxing... Gabriela: ...working out Monica: ...arguing, performing on stage, doing trips to Romania, to our home country, doing a FHM photo shoot and the cover too, and we've done a TV show over there in Romania as well. We had our family over here, our brother, his wife and our niece who's only eight years old, she's like a real diva, and a disaster trip to Paris for me! Gabriela: And a lovely trip to Rome with my fiance. Every single situation in the life of a Cheeky Girl is going to be shown on the Living TV show.
