Scarlett Alice Johnson is back – and very impressive – in gritty urban London drama Adulthood, the more sensibly named sequel to the earlier Kidulthood. She can certainly hold her own on London's mean streets but how will share fare with a Living grilling?
Living... For The City
I don't know. I would love to live abroad at some point, but I really love living in London. It really depends on work – at the moment I'm here because of my work, but if I have the opportunity to travel and move somewhere else, then I will. I'd love to.
Living... On A Prayer
I'm atheist. My family are as well. I don't really know what to say, it's a thorny issue. I have absolutely nothing against religion. Some people are really anti-religion and religious groups, but I don't feel like that at all. I don't have a religion that I follow at all but I think religion can be a very positive thing within a community, it's very important. It can be the heart of the community so for that sense of tradition, it's very important in this country but I, personally, don't follow one. Was that tactful enough?!
The Living... Years
I'm very, very happy now because I'm doing what I want to do. I'm really proud of Adulthood, I think it's a really good film. And I've just moved in with my lovely boyfriend, so I'm very happy about that. I'm involved with a comedy project at the moment which I'm excited about as I've never done comedy before and that's going well. Hopefully after that, lots of interesting characters. Who knows? I try not to have too much of a plan. I'm leaving myself open. Everything's nice at the moment, touch wood. I think the key is to enjoy the moment and not think about it too much, or think about whether I was happier some point in the past, but right now I'm definitely all set. I'm good.
Living... For The Weekend
The big night out would be with the girls. Just the girls. Not the boyfriend – he can come if he wants but if he knows it's going to be just the girls, he'd probably rather be with his boys. A few drinks, a bit of dinner and then hit the town. With the girls.
Living... In A Box
The best present? I don't know. That's a tough one. I genuinely don't know. My birthday was in April and my big sister gave me an iPod cover and I was really excited about that. I am a bit of a geek. The best present I've ever given? I've been able to take my mum on holiday a couple of times, and that was wicked to be able to do that. We went to Venice a couple of times, and it was just lovely. It wasn't really a present as such; it was just a nice thing to be able to do.
The Living... Daylights
Favourite Bond film? The last one. Because of Daniel Craig...! No, actually, it was the beginning scene, that long, epic fight was just phenomenal. That sold it to me. And Daniel Craig.
Living... TV
I've just moved in with my lovely boyfriend, so we'll be on the couch, probably watching a box set of something as we have a rather large DVD collection. Or Gavin & Stacey, which I'm obsessed with at the moment. I'd probably cook something myself, because I love cooking, and that's kind of it. I'm definitely a home person - a good night in with a bottle of wine is my kind of thing. And no, I don't keep up with EastEnders. Sorry!
