Avebury Stones and The Red Lion, Wiltshire

History
Dating back to the 1600s, Avebury Stones, along
with the nearby Red Lion pub, is reputedly one
of the most paranormal places in Great Britain.
The Red Lion Inn dates back to 1802, while historically there
has been a building on that location for centuries before then,
when Avebury sat on the main route from London to Bath. The stone
circles are thought to have been constructed in Neolithic times
between 2500 to 2000 BC. The Beaker people, so called after their
pottery, are thought to have played a major role in their formation,
as they did with Stonehenge.
Phenomena
The most renowned haunting is that of a woman, who was
supposedly thrown down a well hundreds of years earlier after
being caught in bed with another man. Paranormal activity in the
building has ranged from tables being covered with Salt and Pepper,
as well as a spinning chandelier in the restaurant beneath which
a man with a beard is seen sitting at the table.
Investigation
During a vigil, Derek sees the unfortunate woman who
was killed and thrown down a well. Derek then takes the team outside
to the stones for more exploration, while Yvette stays in a room
by herself, her first solo vigil, only to feel a tickling sensation
on her head. Karl is also scratched on the neck despite the room
being empty. Orbs are also caught on camera.
