One of TV’s most talked about shows of 2009 returns with more battling brides than ever before. Each episode sees four brides-to-be put their special day under scrutiny, inviting three rival brides to critique their nuptials, all in a bid to win every newly wed’s dream prize – a luxury honeymoon.
But can they stage the perfect day, or will a nuptial nightmare commence?
From the beautiful to the bizarre, series two throws up a colourful mix of both conventional and quirky ceremonies, as each bride goes all out to be crowned the number one newlywed. Surreal ceremonies to look out for include a haunting Halloween theme, a Star Wars obsessive, a garrison service for a returning service man, and, in episode one, a naturist couple revealing more than just their love for each other…
Under pressure this series are 80’s throwback David van Day, The Apprentice’s most controversial candidate Katie Hopkins, glamorous WAG Lizzie Cundy and impressionist Francine Lewis – the big days see Arabian and Bollywood themes collide with a country wedding in Devon. Also in the spotlight in the last episode of the series are ex-Steps singer Faye Tozer, glamour girl Michelle Marsh, former EastEnders actress Carol Harrison and Big Brother winner Pete Bennett. But will the traditionalists or the rebels come out on top? With a 'big top' the setting for Pete’s wedding and a fish ‘n’ chip supper at Carol’s, it’s anyone’s guess!
Four Weddings season two coming soon
