• Russian band, entertainer and dancing.

Date: Feb 14th,2009
Budget: £20,000
Location: London. Photos at London Eye/Big Ben – various London spots in their stretch limo hummer. Then Greek Orthodox Church and onto Trinity House, Tower Hill.
Wedding Theme: Traditional Russian. Roses, white and wine (Valentine’s Day)
Nightmare wedding: Although Yana says she doesn’t want to slag people off and only wants to be nice, she does admit that she doesn’t like simple dresses.

Bride’s Personality: As an ex model Yana is used to the good life; she likes glamour and opulence and doesn’t understand people who play down their wedding day.

Their wedding: Mega Russian wedding. First they hopped in their stretched hummer (supplied by http://www.capitallimousine.co.uk/) for photos at London landmarks; Big Ben, London Eye etc, with guests as well. Then they headed to their Greek Orthodox church in central London for the ceremony. Two witnesses hold crowns above their heads while they get married. They then hopped back in the hummer to go to ‘the best venue in central London, Trinity House’ (by Tower Hill). A bell was rung when the guests arrived, before they broke bread and drank a shot. Entertainment was provided by Russian musicians. An entertainer also talked with guests, told jokes and pulled pranks. Flowers were red roses because to fit in with Yana’s Valentine’s Day theme.

The Dress: Big white dress bought from Russia. It’s open on the stomach, covered in lots of stones. Tiara and veil. Uri sported a DJ and cravat.
