STRENGTHS: Intelligent; compassionate; hard working; has good medical instincts and a natural flair for medicine.

WEAKNESSES: Sometimes outspoken; easily distracted; can be very indecisive.

LIKES: Ice cream; handsome doctors (and vets!); scrubbing in; dating; tequila.

DISLIKES: Estranged wives; complicated relationships; sharing her house (sometimes).

FAMILY: Considered 'royally inbred' by the other interns, Meredith is the daughter of renowned surgeon, Dr. Ellis Grey, who is suffering from Alzheimer’s. Meredith is now working on a relationship with her long lost father, Thatcher Grey.

NOTABLE RELATIONSHIPS: Relationships aren’t exactly Meredith’s strong point, although she now seems to have found her feet with her dreamy boss, Dr. Derek Shepherd. We have seen her with a string of disastrous boyfriends and flings. Loveable vet, Finn Dandridge, being the most successful and of course, fellow intern, George O’Malley, has to go down as the most disastrous of them all!

OTHER: Meredith has a lot of high expectations and responsibility riding on her shoulders. Not only does she have to ensure that her mother is cared for, but she also has to prove herself as a successful surgeon.
