Living will be airing two tribute shows to celebrate and document Jade's life. Jade: With Love will include new and exclusive interviews with some of those closest to Jade, together with highlights from her four series ' on Living; from Jade’s Salon (September 2005), Just Jade (May 2006) and Jade’s PA (October 2006) to the one off, Living with Jade Goody (September 2008) during the filming of which she discovers she has cancer, through to the latest Jade series covering her brave battle with her disease and culminating in her wedding to Jack Tweed.
On hearing the news of Jade's death, Living's Claudia Rosencrantz, Director of Television VMTV said: "We are all overwhelmingly sad to learn of Jade's death today, and although expected, it still came as such a shock. Everyone who worked with Jade loved her. We and all her viewers were so lucky to have laughed with her, and cried with her. Wonderfully charismatic, funny, warm and always sincere, Jade was truly unique and a huge part of the Living family.
When we began filming with Jade last spring little did we expect the nightmare story that would unfold with her diagnosis. Discussing it with Jade, she felt very strongly that it was important to broadcast her battle with cancer, shining her incredible torch of honesty on a subject that affects so many of us. By making her private battle public she has left a lasting legacy of her extraordinary bravery, beauty, humour and dignity and a vastly increased awareness of cervical cancer."
