Throughout the week our blogger will give you a round-up of all the action on the show.

FRIDAY NIGHT - SEARCH FOR DEMONS

So tonight was the finale of ‘Searching for Evil’, and as predicted, it did not disappoint! Whilst introducing the show, Karl said that it was the first time he has seen the crew physically and emotionally scared.

As I mentioned yesterday, David, the sound man, went so weak during the last séance, he collapsed. I am pleased to report, that he is back to normal, after a full night’s rest. It appears that whatever spirit the team was contacting, seemed to drain them of energy, in particular, David.

The séance (held in the middle of the audience) was interesting, and at points, quite confusing! The infamous ‘Jake’ was with them once again – leaving with the team the message; ‘today you die’, and even more mysteriously, when asked his identity; ‘Son of Sat’. At this point, the contact with the spirit was lost. Could this have meant ‘son of Satan’? Probably best that we don’t find out for certain!

Again activity was happening from the very beginning of the vigil… Stuart and Karl, both swearing, they heard a spirit voice calling out Yvette’s name. Very spooky, especially as something (or someone) from the spirit world appeared to have been focusing on Yvette for the past week…again, this seemed to be putting the rest of the team completely on edge… The contact with the spirit world seemed to be pretty strong and constant this evening. Almost every time that Yvette called out there was some sort of answer. The whistling sounds and ‘spirit voices’ were clear as a bell. There were knocks, as well as stones being thrown at the team, something we have not seen much of this week. Yvette was throwing the stone into the darkness, and some sort of entity was throwing it right back to her.

Yvette and Karl also introduced us to their new Ouija board. It looked amazing, consisting of several circular shapes of wood, with symbols and letters engraved, which moved around each other. This worked extremely well, you could even see at one point, the force of which the spirits could turn the apparatus, the team were pushing all their weight down on top of it, yet there was some ‘force’ turning it against them !

The vigil then carried on, Yvette calling out to the spirit. I jumped out of my chair when I heard what sounded like an old man’s voice, or growl, if you will – it was extremely clear, seemed to be right next to the camera. You could tell this scared the team to! There were loud sighs coming from all around, it got louder, and more intense. Karl went off to investigate, only to come back reporting he heard a voice telling him; ‘you’re next’. At one point, Karl seemed to lose his breath; he had chest pains, and again that ‘draining of energy’.

The more intense the activity got, the more the team felt surrounded by spirits. Lights began flashing all around the team…so Karl and Stuart went off to investigate. I was watching on the webcams as they entered another room, minutes later they ran from the room, claiming they saw a dark creature in the corner, crouched as if to jump at them. I don’t blame them for running away! Could this have been the elusive demon they were searching for?

This week has been incredible, producing some of the best activity I’ve seen on Most Haunted. I have loved blogging this week, I’ve been scared witless, yet at the same time could not stop watching! Well done to the team, a brilliant investigation, and I congratulate them all on their bravery…

Until next time!

FRIDAY NIGHT’S HIGHLIGHTS:

New Ouija board.

The man’s growl, heard clearly through the television!

Karl and Stuart’s experience with a demon-like creature.

THURSDAY NIGHT – NIGHT TERRORS

Tonight the team are investing ‘night terrors’ in an old manor house – Biston Lodge. They are looking for entity’s that visit the unwary whilst they sleep, to entice them to commit evil deeds…Well I know I won’t be sleeping well tonight!

Tonight we began with the footage of Kath spending the night alone in a haunted bedroom…no thanks! She is one brave lady, I must say! And I do not blame her for not lasting the entire night. Little did she know that Yvette would put her in it again; this time – strapped down! Kath felt the entity stroke her hair and face – I imagine that’s not a nice feeling!

The cellar was particularly scary tonight – footsteps following them and whistling, (which to me now is almost par for the course!) Although no voices in there this evening…

Another relatively dangerous experiment tonight - Karl and Yvette were winched 60ft down to the bottom of a well. So not only are you potentially dealing with evil spirits – but I imagine intense claustrophobia too. Whilst in there, they heard whispering. At this point I would have totally lost my nerve, especially as the winch was taken away – so they had no escape!

Again, the séance was successful. This ‘Jake’ character that has been within them all week seems to be back again. This time, they made contact with a spirit that claims to be Jake’s father; he calls himself ‘The Devil’. Billy warned everyone to be very careful, even stating that he wouldn’t stay there on his own…. Soon after this was said, David the sound man seemed to collapse and for the first time this week a paramedic was called in, resulting in an ambulance arriving. The cameras went back to the studio, as the entire team were affected, all weak, shaking, and seemed to be in some state of shock.

Basically tonight is definitely leading up to something big. I have a feeling the final tomorrow is going to be extremely exciting! There were so many warnings tonight, of an evil entity that will quite possibly try to possess one of the team. I am so looking forward to tomorrow, I implore everyone to stay tuned – it’s going to be big!

THURSDAY NIGHT’S HIGHLIGHTS

Kath strapped to the bed – very scary!

Karl and Yvette in the well. The contact with….. ‘The Devil?!’

WEDNESDAY NIGHT - THE SEARCH FOR DARK PHANTOMS

So, from tonight’s activity, it’s not ‘fun scary’ anymore, it’s scary, scary.

The team have most definitely disturbed something…The evening seemed to focus around Yvette – I really felt for her, she was the most genuinely scared tonight – there were tears, and she had to sit down at one point.

This was the most spooky experiment yet…it had a different atmosphere altogether. Brian in particular was very somber, he picked up on a very dark entity (there was a mention of a demon or even a devil…) The entity was purely focused on Yvette, telling her ‘you’re next’ and asked for her to be on her own. This was extremely scary for Yvette – she has now vowed to never be on her own during a ghost hunt, and I don’t blame her! At one point, the whole team jumped, having seen someone above them. ..

Ciaran placed photos of the team on the table – the spirit chose Stuart to go upstairs on his own. He seemed to go into a trance, then suddenly jumped, shouting ‘you bastard!’ I LEAPT out of my seat at this point.

Karl did the same experiment, the EXACT same thing happened – something was terrorising them. And whatever it was, was definitely meaning harm.

As the investigation went on, Karl felt chest pains, Yvette went very weak and had to sit down, and at one point she couldn’t speak properly. This was extremely weird, Stuart believing that the entity was affecting her because she didn’t do as it said.

The team got way more then they asked for tonight – at one point I couldn’t watch anymore. Am now a bit apprehensive about tommorrow’s investigation, I hope the team get some rest. They’re going to need it.

WEDNESDAY’S NIGHTS HIGHLIGHTS

Yvette and Karl arguing over whether she should go on her own.

A demon constantly asking for Yvette.

Ciaran attempting reverse psychology on a demon!! (Yvette don’t go – we’ll anger it more)

Stairwell – a ghostly woman’s voice…

TUESDAY NIGHT – VOICES FROM THE GRAVE

So, tonight is definitely an episode for the technology fans out there!

What a spooky place the Central Library was. There seemed to be footsteps everywhere, as if someone or something was following the team…even Ciaran seemed to be slightly apprehensive!

There were definitely spirits in the library, again, Ciaran caught several figures on his thermal imaging apparatus.

Whilst in the library, every time the team made a noise, the spirit tried to communicate (by whistles/high pitched noises), just like they were being told off by a librarian! Extremely eerie…. but in a way, almost a jovial feel about it.

Karl and Yvette’s experiment this evening: Phones were placed in parts of the building, all phones were left off the hook – and Yvette attempted to contact spirits down the telephone line. This particular experiment did appear to work….deep, eerie breaths were heard from the other end, but checking the webcams, there was no one there…unfortunately no clear voices, this time.

Ciaran’s experiment: Think of a genre of books, ask the spirits to knock the book off the shelf. A very controlled experiment – as none of the team knew where the books were, as well as the room being pitch black!

Karl asked for books on US/Canadian History, and lo and behold two books were found on the floor – on Canadian History. Yvette then called out for more books to be thrown. There was an extremely loud bang, and more books fell. No-one was visible on camera - there was no one near the shelf.

I started to get very scared at this point, from then on every time Yvette called out for books, they were literally dropping from the shelves!!! This is extremely bizarre – but as Brian told us, it is a way of communication.

Paul told us, they merely give us evidence, we come to our own conclusions…

Until tomorrow!

TUESDAY NIGHT’S HIGHLIGHTS

The eerie noises on the other end of the phone.

The books flying off the shelves – brilliant!

MONDAY NIGHT – LOST SOULS

This evening the team investigated the large warehouse, dockside. As Billy mentioned at the beginning of the show – the atmosphere is clearly charged. The location is dark, gloomy, and immense. How easy would it be to become lost and disorientated in a place like that?

Tonight the team are looking for ‘lost souls’, those that have not yet ‘passed over’. Confused spirits, desperate for help, not knowing they’re dead…rather them than me….

Yet again, Yvette senses tapping when introducing the show with Paul – a clear indicator this week is going to get a lot more exciting.

Billy Roberts did say he sensed evil early on in the show. And I think we can all say he was dead on with this statement (pardon the pun).

The spirit contacted through the first séance had a clear message for Yvette, her face when the ouji board spelt ‘kill me’ was priceless – I would have been straight out of there!

Karl’s experiment: nailing each member of the team in a coffin, in what was once a morgue was very extreme/adventurous – I can’t decide which. There is no way anyone would have got me to do that – no matter how big a fan of the show I am. Did anyone else see Stuart’s coffin jump? I can’t believe someone lying down inside could have made that happen…

Another amazing night for the team and the many fans at home – keep up the good work!

Monday nights’s highlights:

The spirit making Yvette say ‘kill me’.

The coffin experiment.

The lonely spirit woman calling out for her lost daughter, Rose.

SUNDAY NIGHT - THE SEARCH FOR APPARITIONS & GHOSTS

I am absolutely amazed to say that this evening I actually heard for the first time a spirit voice! It was in the snug bar, and was caught on camera….

The knocks and taps were a lot louder this evening. Again, from the onset activity seemed to be rife!

Tonight, I must say I loved the reconstruction of the Victorian séance (under scientific conditions) in the theatre. It proved to be quite an electric performance…. The audible noises which appeared to be, voices, whistles, and taps, eventually led to the sad discovery of a child’s murder (known as ‘little Madge’), within the grounds of the theatre.

This experiment is new to Most Haunted and definitely one of the best I’ve seen on the show. I must admit, I did agree with the audience and Yvette with regards to the decision of sending Kath on her own to be strapped in a chair ‘at the hands of the killer spirit’. I love Yvette’s conviction in antagonising the spirits by wanting to prove to the audience at home, that this unexplained phenomena does happen, and there are spirits that want us to know they exist.

It was another brilliant evening for Most Haunted live, with a plethora of phenomena once again, caught on camera.

Sunday night’s highlights:

Ciaran catching the shape of a figure on his thermal image camera. I’m not sure how a sceptic can explain this particular phenomena.

The whistling and knocking during the Victorian séance.

The loud sigh that you could clearly hear – this was incredible, especially seeing the team’s reactions. Kath strapped to a chair, on her own – brilliant idea! The spirit voice, clearly saying the word ‘yes’.

SATURDAY NIGHT - POLTERGEIST NIGHT

As predicted, the first instalment of Most Haunted Live: The Search For Evil has not left me disappointed! I'm very much looking forward to the ongoing investigations of not 1, but 7 different 'manifestations of evil'. What a task the team have ahead of them!

Right from the onset, it was clear there was something or someone was trying to communicate. The fact that Yvette reported the tapping phenomena whilst introducing the show proved that this location was going to be interesting....

The first experiment, the séance I must admit, did put me slightly on edge, it was incredible. From the beginning I could hear the tapping clearly, indicating that there was a presence. Even though it didn’t want to speak as such, it was definitely letting us know that it was there. There was at least 1 spirit but maybe 2.. The ever sceptical Ciaran even heard tapping (when nobody else did) which was a very good indicator!

Saturday night's highlights:

Brian picking up on multiple entities, the first being 'James Preston' who warned that St George's Hall was 'a very evil, nasty place'. (There was a James Preston, who unfortunately died accidentally in this location).

The civil court - once the lights were turned out, I definitely heard footsteps as well as knocking - very spooky.

Ciaran's temperature gauge, dramatically changing from hot to cold sparodically through the night.

Karl sitting on the wheelchair – I’m sure I saw a black shadow behind him, (other people also reported the same phenomena).

As Paul Ross mentioned at the beginning of the show, there ARE things that cannot be rationally explained.

Bring it on.... I'm ready for the rest of the week!
